Darrell Noblitt

Darrell Noblitt is an Alumnus of the Oklahoma University PLM program and the President’s Leadership Class at The University of Oklahoma. He began his career in the Oil Industry pulling books, checking records and buying leases in 1979. He has worked for small and medium sized independents in various capacities of Land, A & D and negotiations from the Rockies east. He has testified as an expert witness before the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma and has been a Guest Lecturer to both The University of Oklahoma, and Tulsa University’s Energy Management programs, as well as presenting to SPEE, OCAPL, TAPL, PASO, COPAS, DAPL and many others.
Outside the industry he has served as, City Councilman, Vice-Mayor, Chairman of the Economic Development Authority and Representative to Association of Central Oklahoma Governments for his hometown of Mustang, OK.
He has also chaired numerous Civic and Non-Profit Organizations. Currently he proudly serves on the Board of the Oklahoma Youth Hunting & Shooting Organization.
Darrell is the president of Noblitt Oil and Gas, Inc. There, he concentrates on the purchase, funding and placement of E&P projects from the Rockies to the Gulf of Mexico with small to medium Independent Producers.
Mr. Noblitt is a member of the IPAA and is a Wildcatter with the OIPA, where he serves on the Federal Legislative Committee. Mr. Noblitt has served on of the Executive Board of the Oklahoma City Association of Petroleum Landmen, where he serves as a Committee Chairman and was honored in 2012 as Landman of the Year.
